Creating Backup Jobs

To back up VMs, you must configure a backup job. Backup job defines the source VMs, repository where the backup file will be stored, the job schedule and other settings.

To create a backup job, do the following:

Before you create a backup job, check prerequisites and limitations
Launch the Add new backup job wizard
Specify the job name and description
Selects VMs to backup
Specify the backup repository where backups will be stored
Define the job schedule
Finish working with the wizard
