Creating Users

To create a Veeam Backup for AWS user:

At the top right corner of the Veeam Backup for AWS window, click Configuration.
In the configuration menu on the left, click Accounts.
On the Backup Admins tab, click Add.

Veeam Backup for AWS will launch the Add User wizard.

At the User Info step of the wizard, specify a name and description for the user.

Note

Mind the following limitations:

A name of a Veeam Backup for AWS user can contain only lowercase Latin letters, numeric characters, underscores and dashes. You can use the dollar sign ($) as the last character of the user name.
A description of a Veeam Backup for AWS user must not exceed 255 characters.

At the Login Info step of the wizard, specify a password for the user.
At the Summary step of the wizard, review user details and click Finish.
