Veeam Backup for AWS automatically notifies you about new versions of the product and available package updates for the backup server operating system. However, you can check for available product and package updates manually when needed. Veeam Backup for AWS displays available updates on the Veeam Updater page.
To open the Veeam Updater page:
- In the configuration menu on the left, click Support Information.
- On the Updates tab, click Check and view updates.
If new updates are available, Veeam Backup for AWS will display them on the Updates tab of the Veeam Updater page.
Viewing Update Information
To view information about the available updates:
- In the Updates are available for this system section, select check boxes next to the necessary updates.
- Click the What's new? link.
