Performing EC2 Instance Restore

Before you start EC2 instance restore, check prerequisites. Then use the Instance Restore wizard to restore EC2 instances.

1. Launch the Instance Restore wizard.
2. Select a restore point.
3. Specify IAM identity for restore.
4. Select a restore mode.
5. Select an AWS region.
6. Specify encryption settings for EBS volumes.
7. Specify an EC2 instance name and type.
8. Specify network settings.
9. Specify a restore reason.
10. Finish working with the wizard.
