For enhanced data security, Veeam Backup for AWS allows you to encrypt backed-up EC2 instance data in S3 repositories using Veeam encryption mechanisms. Additionally, Veeam Backup for AWS supports native AWS encryption — AWS Key Management Service (AWS KMS) customer master keys (CMKs).
