Other software | Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.2 (included in the setup). Microsoft Internet Information Services 7.0 or later (IIS 6 Metabase Compatibility and Windows Authentication components for IIS 7.0, ASP.NET 4.5 and .NET Extensibility 4.5 for IIS 8.0). Note: If these components are not installed, they can be deployed automatically during the setup. Browsers: Microsoft Internet Explorer 10.0 or later, Microsoft Edge, latest versions of Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome are supported. The browser needs to have JavaScript enabled. Microsoft Excel 2003 or later is required to view report data exported from Veeam Backup Enterprise Manager. If you plan to restore Microsoft Exchange items from the Veeam Backup Enterprise Manager UI, you must install Veeam Backup Enterprise Manager on the domain member server from the Microsoft Active Directory forest in which Microsoft Exchange mailboxes are located. |

It is recommended that you install the same product version on the Veeam Backup Enterprise Manager server and Veeam backup servers. If you use different versions of Veeam Backup Enterprise Manager and Veeam Backup & Replication, you may not be able to leverage all features in Veeam Backup Enterprise Manager. |
Veeam Cloud Connect Portal
This component is installed during Veeam Backup Enterprise Manager setup. It can be open on desktop computers and portable devices; supported browsers are listed in the table below.

Veeam Backup Search (optional)
This optional component is included in the installation package to provide backward compatibility with existing deployment. However, for a new deployment there is no need to install this extra component, since all operations related to VM guest OS file system indexing and search will be performed by Veeam's proprietary built-in indexing engine.
