Make sure that the user accounts that you plan to use have permissions described in the following table.
Account | Required Permission |
|---|---|
Setup Account | The account used for installation of Nutanix AHV Plug-in must have the local Administrator permissions on the target machine. |
Veeam AHV Service Account | The account used to run the Veeam AHV Service must be a LocalSystem account or must have the local Administrator permissions on the server where Nutanix AHV Plug-in is installed. |
Adding AHV Cluster
When you add an AHV cluster to the Veeam Backup & Replication infrastructure, the specified account must have privileges of the Prism Admin role or higher. For details, see the Access Control Management section of the Prism Central Guide.
