To configure backup job advanced settings, do the following:
- Click Advanced.
- To configure retention settings for backups of VMs that are no longer processed by the backup job, in the Backup file maintenance section, select the Remove deleted VMs data after check box, and specify the number of days during which Veeam Backup for RHV will keep backups of the VMs excluded from the job.
- To schedule active full backups, on the Backups tab, select the Run active full backup periodically check box, and choose whether you want to create active full backups on selected days every week or on selected days of selected months.
Alternatively, you can create active full backups manually when needed. For more information, see Creating Active Full Backup.
- To schedule synthetic full backups, on the Synthetic Full Backups tab, select the Create synthetic full backups periodically check box, and choose whether you want to create synthetic full backups on selected days every week or on selected days of selected months.

- To instruct Veeam Backup for RHV to periodically perform a health check for the backups created by the backup job, on the Storage-level corruption guard tab, select the Perform backup files health check check box, and specify a schedule for the health check to run.
