Detailed Description

This cmdlet modifies the settings of Universal Storage API integrated systems. To modify settings, enter the necessary parameters with new values. The parameters that you omit will remain unchanged.

Example

This example shows how to assign a new backup proxy to the storage.

You will need to perform the following steps:

  1. Run Get-StoragePluginHost to get the storage whose settings you want to modify. Save the result to the $storage variable.
  2. Run Get-VBRViProxy to get the backup proxy you want to assign. Save the result to the $proxy variable.
  3. Run Set-StoragePluginHost with the $storage and $proxy variables.

PS C:\PS> $storage = Get-StoragePluginHost -Name "IBM Spectrum"

PS C:\PS> $proxy = Get-VBRViProxy -Name "LocalProxy"

PS C:\PS> Set-StoragePluginHost -Host $storage -Proxy $proxy
