Get-NimbleVolume

Returns Nimble storage volumes.

Syntax

Get-NimbleVolume [-Name <string[]>] [-Host <CNimbleHost[]>]  [<CommonParameters>]

Detailed Description

This cmdlet returns Nimble storage volumes.

You can get the list of all storage volumes, look for a specific volume name or volumes created on a selected host.

Example

This command looks for the volume with the "VOL01" name on the Nimble storage with the "NIMBLE-FC" name.

  1. Run Get-NimbleHost to get the Nimble storage and save it to the $storage variable.
  2. Run Get-NimbleVolume with the $storage variable.

PS C:\PS> $storage = Get-NimbleHost -Name "Nimble-FC"

PS C:\PS> Get-NimbleVolume -Name "VOL01" -Host $storage
