Get-VBRCopyBackupSession

Syntax

This cmdlet provides parameter sets that allow you to:

  • Get copy sessions for the specified backup.

Get-VBRCopyBackupSession -Backup <VBRBackup> [-Confirm] [-WhatIf]  [<CommonParameters>]

  • Get a copy session with a specific session ID.

Get-VBRCopyBackupSession -Id <Guid> [-Confirm] [-WhatIf]  [<CommonParameters>]

  • Get copy sessions for the specified machine.

Get-VBRCopyBackupSession -MachineName <String> [-Confirm] [-WhatIf]  [<CommonParameters>]

Examples

Getting Copy Sessions for Specific Backup

This command returns copy sessions for the Exchange Backup_imported backup.

$backup = Get-VBRBackup -Name "Exchange Backup_imported"

Get-VBRCopyBackupSession -Backup $backup

Perform the following steps:

  1. Run the Get-VBRBackup cmdlet. Specify the Name parameter value. Save the result to the $backup variable.
  2. Run the Get-VBRCopyBackupSession cmdlet. Set the $backup variable as the Backup parameter value.
