Adding Custom Script Step to Failover Plan

For each VM included in a failover plan, you can add a custom script step performed when processing the VM:

  1. Click Exit Configuration.
  2. Navigate to Failover Plans.
  3. Select the plan and click Manage > Edit.
  4. On the Edit Plan page:
  1. In the Plan Groups column, select a group.
  2. In the Virtual Machines column select a VM.
  3. The Steps column will display the list of steps to perform for the VM. Click Add.

In the Add Step window, from the list of plan steps available for the site, select the custom script step. For more information on enabling plan steps, see Configuring Veeam Availability Orchestrator.

Click Add.

  1. To save changes made to the plan settings, click Save.

Adding Custom Step to Failover Plan

After you add the custom step for the VM in the failover plan, check step parameter settings and modify them if required. For more information, see Configuring Step Parameters.
