Configuring Default Parameter Settings

Configuring Default Parameter Settings Note:

You cannot add or remove parameters for default steps provided by Veeam. This option is available for custom steps only.

To modify default parameter settings for a failover plan step:

  1. Log in to the VAO UI in the DR site as a DR Site Administrator. For details, see Accessing VAO UI.
  2. Switch to the Configuration tab.
  3. Navigate to Plan Components > Plan Steps.
  4. Select the VAO site.
  5. Select the step.
  6. In the Step Parameters column, select the required parameter.
  7. In the Parameter Details column, set the desired parameter values and click Save.

Configuring Default Parameter Settings Tip:

In the Save Default Parameter Values window, decide whether you want to apply the configured settings to all plans created for all VAO sites at the same time. To do that, select or clear the Globally push the new default values into all Plans on all Sites check box.

Note that the parameter settings will be changed only for plans in the ENABLED and DISABLED states. For the list of states that a failover plan may acquire, see Running and Scheduling Failover Plans.

I want to report a typo

There is a misspelling right here:

I want to let the Veeam Documentation Team know about that.
