Changing Passwords

If you need to set a new password for an account, the default and preferred method is to change it in the Veeam Backup & Replication console. The new password will be synchronized automatically into VAO.

You can also change the password for an account in the VAO UI:

In the Credentials column, select the credential you want to modify, and click Clone.

In the Clone Credential window, click Clone to acknowledge creation of a credential copy.

Select the newly created credential copy, and click Edit.
In the Edit VAO Credential window, enter the new password and click Save.
