By default, all VAO reports are generated with the highest level of detalization. To minimize the load on the server and filter the report output, you can specify more granular report settings.
- Log in to the VAO UI in the DR site as a DR Site Administrator. For details, see Accessing VAO UI.
- Navigate to Reports.
- Click Report Options.
- In the Report Options window, choose the level of detail that VAO reports should have.

This will apply to all VAO reports in all VAO sites. |
Depending on the report, the option you choose will apply as follows:
- If the Show VMs, Steps and Step details option is selected, the Plan Definition Report, Plan Readiness Check Report, Plan Test Execution Report and Plan Execution Report will include all previously described default sections.
- If the Show VMs and Steps option is selected:
The Plan Readiness Check Report will not include the Pre-Failover Step Details and Post-Failover Steps Details sections.
The Plan Test Execution Report will not include the Pre-Failover Step Details, Recovery Step Details and Post-Failover Step Details sections.
The Plan Execution Report will not include the Pre-Failover Step Details, Recovery Step Details and Post-Failover Step Details sections.
- If the Show VMs option is selected:
The Plan Definition Report will not include the Recovery Steps and Plan Steps & Default Parameters sections.
The Plan Readiness Check Report will not include the Pre-Failover Step Details, Recovery Step Checks and Post-Failover Steps Details sections.
The Plan Test Execution Report will not include the Pre-Failover Step Details, Recovery result and duration, Recovery Step Details and Post-Failover Step Details sections.
The Plan Execution Report will not include the Pre-Failover Step Details, Recovery result and duration, Recovery Step Details and Post-Failover Step Details sections.
