Top (Bottom) Veeam Agents Report
This report aggregates historical performance data for Veeam Agents across a time range and shows top or bottom Veeam Agents for a specific performance counter.
Description
The report features a predefined list of Veeam Agent performance counters.
Note |
To run the Top (Bottom) Veeam Agents report, you must have Veeam Management Pack for Microsoft System Center installed. |
Parameters
Date/time Selection: defines the time period to analyze in the report.
Algorithm: defines whether top or bottom Veeam Agents will be displayed in the report.
Count: defines the number of top or bottom Veeam Agents that will be included in the report. The value can range between 1 and 200.
Group by: defines how data will be grouped in the report (by Object, Counter Instance or Object and Counter Instance).
Scope: defines a list of Groups or Objects to analyze in the report (by default, the Veeam Agents Group is selected). The Add Group option returns a Group and all objects that a group contains (with all performance counter instances). The Add Object option returns only the selected object.
Counter: defines a collection rule for a performance counter to analyze in the report.
Sample Usage
Report on top 5 Veeam Agents that had the highest CPU usage during this week.
Instructions
- Open the Top (Bottom) Veeam Agents report.
- From the From list, select This Week > Monday. From the To list, select This Week > Friday.
- From the Algorithm list, select Top.
- In the Count field, enter 5.
- From the Group by list, select Object.
- Leave the Scope section without changes.
- From the Counter list, select Veeam Agent\CPU Used %.
- Click Run to view the report.
Report Output
The report will show 5 Veeam Agents with the greatest CPU usage level. The chart will display the following details for every Veeam Agent: average CPU usage and the minimum-to-maximum CPU usage range for the selected period. The table will display additional details for every Veeam Agent: name, sample count, minimum, maximum and average CPU usage values and standard deviation.
Note |
If several objects have the same ranking function value, the report will include more objects than you have set in the Count field. For example, the “bottom 10” report will show 11 objects if two objects “share” the same position (have the same value). |
