Verified VMs
The report provides information on SureBackup jobs performed by Veeam Backup & Replication and displays results of VM verification tests.
Description
The SureBackup technology allows you to validate recoverability of created backups in an isolated test environment. The Verified VMs report helps you quickly review the results of completed SureBackup jobs.

To run the Verified VMs report, you must have Veeam Management Pack for Microsoft System Center installed. |
Parameters
Date/time Selection: defines a time period to analyze in the report.
Scope: defines a list of Veeam Backup & Replication servers that will be analyzed in the report (by default, the Veeam Backup Server Group is selected).
The Add Group option returns a Group and all objects that the group contains. The Add Object option returns only the selected object.
Sample Usage
Report on all SureBackup jobs performed across the selected backup server during this week.
Instructions
- Open the Verified VMs report.
- From the From list, select This Week > Monday. From the To list, select This Week > Friday.
- In the Scope section, select the Veeam Backup Server Group and click Remove. Then select the backup server to include in the report.
Click Add Group. In the Add Group window, click Options. In the Options window, click Add. In the Class Name search box, enter backup server and click Search. Select the Veeam Backup Server class in the list of search results, click Add and click OK. In the Options windows, click OK to apply the filter. In the Add Group window, click Search. The search will return a list of objects that belong to the Veeam Backup Server class. Select the server, click Add and click OK.
- Click Run to view the report.
Report Output
The report will display historical data on SureBackup job sessions for the specified reporting period.
The Summary section will provide the following information:
- Number of protected and verified VMs
- Latest state of SureBackup job sessions (total number of VMs for which the latest SureBackup session completed successfully, total number of VMs for which the latest SureBackup session completed with warnings and total number of VMs for which the latest SureBackup session failed)
- Number of produced and verified restore points
The Verification Rate chart will show how the number of successfully verified VMs was changing during the reporting period.

Number of restore points displayed on the chart is limited to 7. For example, if you select two weeks as a reporting period, the chart will show statistics for each second day. |
The details table will display a list of performed SureBackup jobs and provide the following information:
Column | Description |
VM Name | Name of the VM which whose backup was verified. |
Failed/Passed Verifications | Results of verification tests run for the VM (in the “failed/passed” format). |
Last Verified Restore Point | Date of the last verified restore point. |
Last Verification Status | The result of the latest SureBackup job session. |
Ping Test | The result of a verification test (Failed, Passed, Warning). If the test is disabled in the job, the result value will be Not run. |
Heartbeat Test | The result of a verification test (Failed, Passed, Warning). If the test is disabled in the job, the result value will be Not run. |
Script Test | The result of a custom verification script (Failed, Passed, Warning). If the script is disabled in the job, the result value will be Disabled. |
