Acknowledging Individual Alarms

To acknowledge individual alarms:

1. At the bottom of the inventory pane, click Infrastructure View, vCloud Director View, Business View or Data Protection View.
2. In the inventory pane, select the necessary object.
3. In the information pane, open the Alarms tab.
4. In the list of alarms, choose one or more alarms you want to acknowledge and do one of the following:

• Right-click the selection and choose Acknowledge.
• In the Actions pane on the right, click Acknowledge.

Use the [CTRL] or [SHIFT] key to select multiple alarms.

5. In the Acknowledge Alarm window, enter a comment or a reason for acknowledging the alarms.

The message you enter will be available in the Comment field of the alarm history details. It will also be displayed in the Acknowledge reason filed in email notification.

6. Click OK.
