After you install Veeam AHV Plug-in, you must configure the backup infrastructure. To be able to back up VMs that reside on an AHV cluster, you must add the Nutanix AHV cluster to the Veeam Backup & Replication infrastructure and deploy AHV Backup Proxy on that cluster.
