Users responsible for Oracle database restore must be assigned an Enterprise Manager role and be able to restore Oracle databases.
To allow users with the Restore Operator or Portal User role to restore Oracle databases:
- In the Add Role / Edit Role window, select the Databases check box.
- Select the Oracle databases check box.
- [Optional] If necessary, select the Deny in-place database restores check box.
- Click OK.
The Items tab will become available to these users after they log in to Enterprise Manager.
