Step 3. Specify Network Settings
In this article
At the Network Settings step of the wizard, configure network settings for the VM configuration.
To configure network settings, do the following:
- In the Virtual Network drop-down list, select a network to which to deploy new workers. You can also create a new network, as described in Creating New Network.
A virtual network must have peering relationships with the network in which Veeam Backup for Microsoft Azure is deployed.
Important! |
It is required to configure a service endpoint (routing) to the Azure storage service (Microsoft.Storage). For more information, see this Microsoft article. |
- In the Subnet drop-down list, select a subnet of the select network.
- In the Network Security Group drop-down list, select a network security group.
For more information about security groups, see this Microsoft article.
To create a new network, in the Create Network window, do the following:
- In the Virtual Network Name field, specify a new name for the new virtual network.
- In the Virtual Network Address Space field, specify an IP-address range using the CIDR (Classless Inter-Domain Routing) notation.
- In the Subnet Name field, specify a new name for the subnet.
- In the Subnet Address Range field, specify an IP-address range using the CIDR (Classless Inter-Domain Routing) notation.
The subnet range must have at least one free IP-address for each new worker.
