Step 3. Specify Network Settings

In this article

At the Network Settings step of the wizard, configure network settings for the VM configuration.

To configure network settings, do the following:

    1. In the Virtual Network drop-down list, select a network to which to deploy new workers. You can also create a new network, as described in Creating New Network.

A virtual network must have peering relationships with the network in which Veeam Backup for Microsoft Azure is deployed.

    Important!

It is required to configure a service endpoint (routing) to the Azure storage service (Microsoft.Storage). For more information, see this Microsoft article.

    1. In the Subnet drop-down list, select a subnet of the select network.
    2. In the Network Security Group drop-down list, select a network security group.

For more information about security groups, see this Microsoft article.
