Viewing Backup Policy Details

You can view details about backup policy sessions and protected resources for virtual machines, Azure SQL and Azure Files backup policies:

To view policy details:

1. Open the Policies page in the Backup section of the main menu.
2. In the policies list, select the required policy and click Detail on the ribbon or right-click the policy and select Detail.
3. [For VM and Azure Files backup policies] In the Instances tab of the policy window, view the list of protected resources and the backup status.
4. In the Sessions tab of the policy window, view the list of backup sessions. Select a session and click Detail or right-click the session and select Detail to view the session logs. To learn more about the session logs, see Viewing Session Logs.
