This guide is for customers who continue to use the original Veeam Data Cloud platform for Microsoft Azure until migration to the new unified experience platform is complete. Specifying Daily Schedule

To create a daily schedule for the backup policy, at the Schedule step of the wizard, specify the following:

Turn on the Daily Retention toggle to open the Daily schedule window.
In the Snapshots field, select hours when the backup policy will create snapshots for Azure file shares.

Tip

Use the Select All, Clear All and Undo buttons to make selection easier.

From the Run at drop-down list, select days when the backup policy will run.
In the Snapshot Settings section, specify the following:

In the Runs per hour field, specify the number of snapshots that the backup policy will create within an hour.
In the Snapshots to keep field, specify the number of snapshots that you want to keep. When this limit is exceeded, Veeam Data Cloud for Microsoft Azure will remove the earliest snapshot from the chain.

Important

Your monthly invoice amount may vary depending on the backup frequency and retention settings. To avoid additional costs, adjust the backup policy settings to keep fewer restore points in the snapshot chain.
