This guide is for customers who continue to use the original Veeam Data Cloud platform for Microsoft Azure until migration to the new unified experience platform is complete. If you use Veeam Data Cloud for Microsoft Azure in the unified experience platform, click here to go to the correct user guide.Step 2. Specify Account Info and Type
At the Account Info step of the wizard, specify the following:
- In the Name field, enter a name for the account.
- In the Description field, enter a description of the account for future reference.
- In the Modify service account field, choose whether you want to add a service account using a Microsoft Entra application that already exists in Microsoft Azure or to create a new Microsoft Entra application and connect it to the service account.
If you select the Renew Azure AD Application option, the wizard will proceed to the Connect Microsoft Azure step.
If you select the Specify existing AAD Application option, the wizard will proceed to the Specify Azure Application step.
