Summary

Virtual machine disks consolidation is needed.

Causes

The administrator initiated the delete operation for one or more VM snapshots but the snapshot consolidation operation has failed. Some of VM disks still remain on the datastore and consume storage capacity.

Resolution

Initiate a consolidate operation from the vSphere Client manually.
