Veeam VMware: VMware vSphere Authentication Proxy Service Health Alarm
This monitor tracks the VMware vSphere Authentication Proxy Service Health Alarm.
By default, the alarm is triggered by the following event:
- vim.event.HealthStatusChangedEvent: Health status of the VMware vSphere Authentication Proxy Service changed.
The VMware vSphere Authentication Proxy Service allows you to automatically add ESXi hosts to an Active Directory domain in case you do not want to add the hosts manually. The service also handles certificates assigned to the hosts. If the VMware vSphere Authentication Proxy Service Health Alarm fires, check whether the VMware vSphere Authentication Proxy Service is running. In case the service is stopped, try starting it again. For more information on stopping, starting and restarting vCenter Server 6.x services, see this VMware KB article.
