HostNoRedundantManagementNetworkEvent
Summary
This event records the fact that a host does not have a redundant management network. It is recommended that host management networks be configured with redundancy.
Causes
Host currently has no management network redundancy.
Resolutions
This message occurs if the Service Console does not have network redundancy. This message can be safely ignored if redundancy is not required.
However, VMware recommends that you add a second service console on a different vSwitch and subnet, or add a second vmnic to the service console vSwitch.
To suppress this message on hosts not configured in a VMware High Availability (HA) cluster, set the VMware HA advanced option das.ignoreRedundantNetWarning to true.
If the warning appears for a host already configured in a cluster, set the option advanced option das.ignoreRedundantNetWarning to true and reconfigure VMware HA on that host.
Note |
If the warning continues to appear, disable and re-enable VMware High Availability in the cluster. |
