com.vmware.vc.vsan.NetworkMisConfiguredEvent
Summary
The virtual SAN (vSAN) network is not configured on {host.name} in cluster {computeResource.name} in datacenter {datacenter.name}.
Causes
There is an issue with vSAN network configuration on one or more hosts in the cluster.
Resolutions
Check configuration of network interfaces.
- Make sure that hosts participating in the vSAN cluster are part of vSAN network and are in the same subnet.
- Check that at least one vSAN interface is configured on each host in the cluster (regardless whether the host contributes to storage or not).
- Keep in mind that vSAN networking does not support IPv6.
Refer to this VMware KB article for configuring vSAN VMkernel networking.
Review VMware online documents such as Troubleshooting vSAN to resolve the issues.
