Veeam VMware: Virtual Machine Network Adapter Reservation Status Alarm
This monitor tracks the vCenter Alarm 'Virtual Machine network adapter reservation status'.
By default, the alarm is triggered by the following event:
- com.vmware.vc.vm.VmAdapterResvSatisfiedEvent: Requirements to reservation of network resources are satisfied.
- com.vmware.vc.vm.VmAdapterResvNotSatisfiedEvent: Requirements to reservation of network resources cannot be satisfied.
Check that enough network adapters are available on the virtual switch for the bandwidth reservation to be satisfied. Add more NICs, if possible, or reduce network resources reservation for a VM or a group of VMs. See VMware Docs for more information on configuring bandwidth allocation for a virtual machine.
See the Help Center for more information including reference lists of all Rules and Monitors and full set of User Guides for the Veeam MP for VMware.
