Veeam Backup & Replication allows to automate the process of copying AHV VM backups to tape devices and lets you specify scheduling, archiving and media automation options. For details on how it works, see the How Machines Backup to Tape Works.
In the Veeam Backup & Replication console, you can copy your backups to a tape device. Before you can create backup to tape jobs, you must add the target tape server to the Veeam Backup & Replication infrastructure, create media pools, and configure media vaults.
