You can use the AHV Backup Proxy web console to remove snapshots from the AHV cluster. When you remove snapshots from the AHV cluster, AHV Backup Proxy automatically deletes records about these snapshots from the Veeam Backup & Replication configuration database.

You cannot remove AHV VM snapshots using the Veeam Backup & Replication console. |
To remove a snapshot, do the following:
- At the main panel of the AHV Backup Proxy web console, click the Protected VMs tab.
- At the right of the working area, click the View as tree toggle to enable the tree view.
- In the Job name list, expand a necessary snapshot job.
- Select check boxes next to snapshots that you want to delete.
- Click Delete on the toolbar.
