Creating PD Snapshot Jobs

In AHV Backup Proxy, you can create and schedule a protection domain (PD) snapshot job. The created PD snapshot is not transferred to the Veeam Backup & Replication repository. PD snapshots are stored in the AHV container. You can create PD snapshot jobs, even if the Veeam Backup & Replication server is not added the AHV Backup Proxy infrastructure.

Note that you can add only one protection domain to a PD snapshot job.

To configure a PD snapshot job, launch the New Job wizard and configure the PD snapshot job settings:

Specify general settings.
Select a PD.
Configure snapshot retention settings.
Define the job schedule.
Finish working with the wizard.
