VM Disks Restore

If a VM virtual disk becomes corrupted for some reason, you can restore it from a backup. The restored virtual disk can be attached to the original VM to replace the corrupted disk or connected as a new disk to any other VM.

Before you restore disks, check the limitations. Then launch the Virtual Disk Restore wizard and follow its steps:

  1. Select a virtual machine.
  2. Select a restore point.
  3. Configure mapping settings.
  4. Specify a reason for the restore.
  5. Finish working with wizard.
