The backup job must be configured in the following way:
- You must have a transactionally-consistent backup of your Microsoft SharePoint created successfully. For that, select the Enable application-aware image processing option at the Guest Processing step of the backup job wizard when configuring your SharePoint backup.
- The user account that you specify for guest processing of the Microsoft SharePoint (in the Guest OS credentials section at this step of the wizard) must meet the requirements according to the Required Permissions section.

If you have different servers in your SharePoint deployment - that is, an SQL Server hosting the content database, and web server hosting SharePoint application - make sure that backup for each of these virtualized servers is created with application-aware processing enabled. |
