Specify the restore options — you can select to restore Changed items and/or Deleted items, as well as Restore permissions. If Restore permissions option is cleared, then permissions for the recovered document/list item will be set as follows:
- In case such document/list item does not exist on target, Veeam will create it from the backed up document/item, inheriting permissions from the parent object.
- In case such document/list item already exists on target, permissions will be preserved.
Click Restore and wait for the operation to complete.

There are some peculiarities of SharePoint item recovery with Veeam Explorer for Microsoft SharePoint. For example, you may need to restore the item(s) originally belonging to a list (with no content approval required) to another list. If you try to restore such item(s) to a list that requires content approval, item version and status will be modified. For more details, refer to the Considerations and Limitations section. |
