Adding Veeam Data Cloud Vault Tenants

To add a Veeam Data Cloud Vault tenant, do the following:

  1. Launch the Add New Tenant wizard:
  1. To open the list of Vault tenants, click Vault on the left.
  2. Click Add Tenant.
  3. On the Add Vault Tenant page, from the Subscription drop-down list, select your subscription or a subscription of the customer for which you want to create a tenant.

If the necessary subscription is not in the list, request a new subscription in VCSP Pulse. For details, see Requesting Subscriptions.

Important

If you want to add the Veeam Data Cloud Vault Azure tenant to the organization of your customer, the customer must meet the following requirements:

  • The customer has an active Veeam My Account.
  • The customer has an active paid contract with Veeam and a valid Veeam support ID.

Otherwise your customer will not be able to add Veeam Data Cloud Vault as an object storage repository in Veeam Backup & Replication.

If you fully manage the customer who wants to use Veeam Data Cloud Vault and the customer does not have an active Veeam My Account login and a paid contract with Veeam, do not create a new tenant in the customer organization. Use your Veeam Data Cloud Vault subscription to add a new Veeam Data Cloud Vault tenant and create a new Veeam Data Cloud Vault storage for your customer. For details, see Adding Storage Vaults.

For Veeam Data Cloud Vault AWS edition, Veeam My Account is not required.

  1. Select Direct Onboarding.
  2. Click Next. Veeam Data Cloud will launch the Add New Tenant wizard.
