Adding Backup Repositories

This section describes how to add direct attached storage, network attached storage, and deduplicating storage appliances as backup repositories.

Before you add a backup repository, check prerequisites. Then use the New Backup Repository wizard to add the backup repository.

1. Launch the New Backup Repository wizard
2. Specify a backup repository name and description
3. Specify server or shared folder settings
4. Configure path and load control settings
5. Specify mount server settings
6. Review properties and components
7. Apply Backup Repository Settings
8. Finish Working with Wizard
