When you create a new orchestration plan or add a VM group to an existing plan, you have an option to run the Protect VM Group step to protect VMs included in the plan.
This step creates a new template-based backup job to back up VMs in the specified VM group as soon as the recovery process is complete.

Veeam Backup & Replication server on which the template backup job has been created must be connected to the vCenter Server that manages target VMs. |
You can override the following parameters for the Protect VM Group step:
