Restoring from Backup

With Veeam Agent for Oracle Solaris command line interface, you can restore files and directories from the backup. When you perform file-level restore from the backup, Veeam Agent for Oracle Solaris automatically selects the latest restore point in the backup. You can restore files and directories to the state in which they were at the time when the latest restore point was created.

Before you perform file-level restore, check prerequisites. Then use Veeam Agent for Oracle Solaris commands to restore necessary files and directories.

1. Locate the backup.
2. [Optional] Explore the backup content.
3. Mount the backup.
4. [Optional] Monitor the backup mount process and result.
5. Save restored files.
6. Stop the backup mount session.
