You can view detailed information about the license currently installed in Veeam Agent for Oracle Solaris. To do this, use the following command:
veeamconfig license show
Veeam Agent for Oracle Solaris will display the following information about the license:
Defines whether the license is installed on the local machine or in Veeam Backup & Replication.
You must install a license on the Veeam Agent machine to start working with Veeam Agent for Oracle Solaris. If you use Veeam Agent with Veeam Backup & Replication, after you connect to the Veeam backup server, Veeam Agent uses a license installed in Veeam Backup & Replication.
Product operation mode. Veeam Agent for Oracle Solaris always operates in the server mode.
Date when the license will expire, and the number of days left before the expiration date.
Grace period ends
Date when the grace period will expire.
To ensure a smooth license update procedure Veeam Agent for Oracle Solaris offers a grace period after the license expires. During the grace period, Veeam Agent for Oracle Solaris continues to operate in a regular way. After the grace period expires, you will not be able to use the product. To continue using the product, you must install a new license.
Status of the installed license: The license is valid, The license has expired or The license is corrupted.
Name of the user or company to which the license was issued.
Email of the user or company to which the license was issued.
If you use Veeam Agent for Oracle Solaris with Veeam Backup & Replication, the veeamconfig license show command displays information about the license source and product operation mode only. Other information for the license is available in the Veeam Backup & Replication console.
For Veeam Agent license installed locally on the Veeam Agent machine
