Configuring Veeam Backup for Salesforce

To start working with Veeam Backup for Salesforce, perform a number of steps for its configuration:

1. Add companies to the configuration database.
2. Connect to Salesforce organizations that you want to protect.
3. Add users to control access to Veeam Backup for Salesforce.
4. Connect to PostgreSQL databases that will be used to store backed-up data and metadata of Salesforce organizations.
5. Configure IdP and SSO settings.
6. Create alerts and configure notification settings.
7. [Optional] Create templates to mask sensitive data.
8. [Optional] Connect to AWS accounts to encrypt data using an AWS KMS master key.
9. [Optional] Configure advanced settings.
