Creating Archival Policies

To create an archival policy, complete the following steps:

Before you run an archival policy, it is strongly recommended that you deactivate Flows, Validation Rules and Apex Triggers in Salesforce since business logic and automated rules configured in Salesforce can block Veeam Backup for Salesforce archival operations and trigger undesirable side processes.
By default, you cannot create multiple archival policies for one root Salesforce object or file type. To allow Veeam Backup for Salesforce to run multiple archival policies for one root object or file type, modify the archive.object.allow.parallel value as described in section Configuring Advanced Settings.
