Before You Begin

In this article

    Before you boot from the recovery image and recover your data, check the following prerequisites:

    1. You must have a recovery image created with Veeam Agent for IBM AIX.
    2. You must have the file-level backup created with Veeam Agent for IBM AIX. Make sure that the backup is available in an NFS directory and that you have access to the backup location.
    3. You must have configuration backup created with Veeam Agent for IBM AIX. Make sure that the configuration file with up-to-date information about the backed-up machine configuration is included in the backup or resides in an NFS directory.
    4. The media type on which you have created the recovery image must be set as a primary boot source on your machine.
