Performing WPAR Backup

You can use Veeam Agent for IBM AIX to back up and restore individual WPARs configured in the IBM AIX OS. To back up a WPAR, you must complete the following tasks:

1. Create a backup location where Veeam Agent for IBM AIX will create WPAR backup files. This operation is required if you want to keep WPAR backup files in a separate backup location and not in the same backup location where Veeam Agent for IBM AIX creates machine incremental backups.
2. Select the backup location intended for WPAR backup. This operation is required if multiple backup locations are configured in Veeam Agent for IBM AIX, and you need to switch to the necessary location prior to performing WPAR backup.
3. Perform WPAR backup.
