Verify Exchange Services

This step verifies that Microsoft Exchange services are running on the selected VM.

Verify Exchange Services Important!

  1. To allow the script to run inside the guest OS of a processed VM, it is required that you have Microsoft PowerShell 3.0, .Net Framework 4.0 and Exchange Server 2013 (or later) installed on each VM for which you enable this step.
  2. To allow the script to verify that the services are running on the selected VM, the VM must run Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 (or later).

You can override the following parameters for the Verify Exchange Services step:

If you mark the step as Critical, its failure for a critical VM will halt the plan.

Execute Location

Defines whether the script will run on the Veeam Backup & Replication server or in-guest of the VM.

Number of retries that will be attempted if the step fails on the first try.

Failback & Undo Failover Action
