Creating Protection Group for Computers with Pre-Installed Backup Agents

NOTE

You can create this protection group type in the Veeam Backup & Replication console only. In the Veeam Backup & Replication web UI, protection groups of this type are read-only.

Before you create a protection group for computers with pre-installed Veeam Agents, check prerequisites.

IMPORTANT

After you create a protection group for computers with pre-installed Veeam Agents, you must manually deploy Veeam Agent on the protected computers. For more information about installing and configuring Veeam Agents, see Deploy Veeam Agents.

To create a protection group for computers with pre-installed Veeam Agents, do the following:

Launch the New Protection Group wizard.
Specify protection group name and description.
Specify packages.
Specify advanced protection group settings.
Assess results.
Finish working with the wizard.
