To quickly get started with Veeam Service Provider Console, keep to the following sequence of steps:
The company profile contains your company name, information about company address, contact details and so on. Company profile details will be used invoices and email notifications, such as billing or alarm notifications.
To differentiate backup services and cloud resources consumed by different offices or business units within your company, you can create multiple locations.
- Add systems to manage.
Deploy Veeam backup agents on computers in your infrastructure and configure backup job settings.
Connect Veeam Backup & Replication servers that you plan to manage in Veeam Service Provider Console.
Configure and run backup reports to check the efficiency of data protection, and make sure that you meet established RPO requirements.
Check alarm settings, alarm response actions, and configure alarm assignment.
To provide access to Veeam Service Provider Console to other employees in your company, create new portal users and assign the necessary user roles for them.
To perform configuration tasks, a user must have the Location Administrator or Company Administrator privileges in Veeam Service Provider Console. For details on users and privileges, see Managing Portal Users.
