Removing Salesforce Tenants

You can permanently remove a Salesforce tenant if you no longer need it. When you remove a tenant, the backed-up data, metadata and files will be permanently deleted from Veeam Data Cloud and unavailable for restore. This feature is available only for users assigned the Salesforce:Administrator role.

In Veeam Data Cloud portal, you can remove only non-production (trial, sandbox and developer) Salesforce tenant. To remove a production Salesforce tenant, contact Veeam Customer Support.

To remove a tenant, do the following:

  1. On the Salesforce page, select a tenant that you want to remove.
  2. Click Delete.
  3. In the Delete Salesforce Organization window, type the required text to verify the deletion.
  4. Click Confirm.
