Managing Storage Vaults

Veeam Data Cloud Vault provides detailed information about your storage vaults and allows you to edit vault names.

Viewing Storage Vault Details

To view the storage vault details, do the following:

  1. On the Vault page, click Manage next to the necessary tenant.
  2. In the left menu, click Storage Vaults.
  3. On the Storage Vaults page, view storage vault details.

For each storage vault, Veeam Data Cloud displays the following information:

You can change the storage vault name. For more information, see Editing Storage Vault Details.

  • The status of the storage vault. To learn more about storage vault statuses, see Deleting Storage Vaults.
  • The storage region that you selected when you added the storage vault.
  • Credentials for the storage account used to access the storage vault.

You may want to obtain storage account credentials, for example, if you want to add the storage vault as an object storage repository in Veeam Backup & Replication earlier than version 12.3.

To copy the storage vault name, click the copy icon next to the value in the Storage Vault Name field. 

  • The Total Storage Used counter that provides information about the total amount of storage used.
  • The graph that provides information about the total amount of storage used by the storage vault for the past 6 months. To view details for a specific month, move the cursor to a specific location on the graph.

Editing Storage Vault Details

To edit the storage vault details, do the following:

  1. On the Vault page, click Manage next to the necessary tenant.
  2. In the left menu, click Storage Vaults.
  3. On the Storage Vaults page, locate the storage vault whose details you want to edit.
  1. Click the edit icon next to the storage vault name.
  2. In the Edit Vault Details window, in the Vault Name field, edit the name of the storage vault. The name must be between 3 and 50 characters in length.
  3. If you want to adjust storage vault access, select one of the following options:

If you select this option, do either of the following:

To add another field for more IP addresses, click the plus icon next and enter the IP address in the displayed field. Create a new field for each additional IP address.

To specify more than one IP address range, click the plus icon next and enter the IP addresses in the displayed field. Create a new field for each additional IP address range.

To specify the IP address range in a valid format, use the slash / punctuation mark. For example: 198.51.100.1/17.

  1. Click Done to complete the operation.
