Getting Started

To protect IBM Db2 databases with Veeam Plug-in, perform the following operations:

1. Deploy Veeam Plug-in on the machine that runs IBM Db2. For more information, see Installing Veeam Plug-in for IBM Db2.
2. Configure connection between Veeam Plug-in and the backup repository managed by the Veeam Backup & Replication server. For more information, see Configuring Plug-in.
3. Define what data you want to back up and configure backup settings. For more information, see Performing Backup.
4. In case of a disaster, you can restore data from a backup. For more information, see Performing Restore.
